She was so supportive of us from the moment we got engaged to the last second of the night, and I feel like she captured everything we could have asked for and more. She was calm, collected, professional, and moved with ease through a busy dance floor and large venue. Even though she photographed our private vows, it still felt like we were alone because she was so unobtrusive and really let us have our moment. I chose Alex because of the joy and respect with which she photographs all kinds of bodies, love, and people. I also adore how rich and luxe her colors are, and I think she did an incredible job on both our engagement pics and wedding day.

I could write amazing things about her all day but...I'll hit on the few things I know help decide which vendor is the right choice: communication, attitude, cost, and artistry...She is ON. THE. BALL. She knows the vulnerability and stress that goes into planning a wedding (no matter how simple you try to make it) and she supported us through and through. If the point of a business review is to say yes or no to including Alex in your wedding/unity plans the answer is undoubtedly yes. If the point is to express many adjectives about someone to convince you to hire them, here are a few; joyful, kind, patient, creative, courageous, intelligent, organized, leader, fair, honest, resilient. If the point is to express how important the relationship our family formed with her during this adventure well the answer to that is easy… very, very important. Alex is incredibly skilled and talented in her art, but she is also a professional and organized communicator and planner. My husband and I felt like we were in very good hands...She was always direct with her questions and finding out what she needed to know from us/what we were looking for. She was upfront and clear about the timeline of the session, when we would receive our first look photos and full gallery, and delivered exactly as she promised...It was incredibly windy, cold, and a big group of people with a lot of dynamics to keep in mind and juggle. I don't know how she managed to deliver a gallery where it looked like the wind wasn't INSANE that day, but she did it...You feel safe with her, like you can be vulnerable. You can tell she is going to be your biggest cheerleader and takes great time and care for all her clients.

From the engagement shoot to our wedding day she planned everything out so perfectly that really showcased our relationship and made us feel so comfortable. For our wedding day she was such a big help and offered amazing tips. She will be your biggest hype women, get every angle(even from the ground), and help capture all the memories you’ll cherish forever. I especially appreciate Alex for us to personally be apart of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community it was a very hard time and scary finding queer friendly vendors and she made us feel so at ease, safe and reassured that our love should be celebrated . We will continue to work with Alex for all of our photography needs forever.
