12 Best Wedding Venues in Oklahoma City from a Local Photographer

One of the best things about Oklahoma City is that it is a treasure trove of locations that truly cater to every couple’s dream wedding. In this post, you’ll learn about the best wedding venues in Oklahoma City!

As a wedding photographer based here, I’ve had the opportunity to capture countless love stories throughout this city. Through the lens of my camera, I’ve witnessed the way a venue can enhance and reflect the personalities of each couple, even with unconventional weddings.

Keep reading to learn all about the best wedding venues in Oklahoma City. By the end, you might just have found the perfect spot for your unforgettable day.

Wedding Venues in Oklahoma City

P. Alice

First up is the beautiful P. Alice on N. Broadway Ave in Automobile Alley. This is one of the most unique venues in Oklahoma City. This woman-owned venue is dedicated to Pauline Alice, who was a china painter who loved sharing the overall beauty of art with the world. The venue works to continue Pauline’s work.

This event space is incredibly unique, with beautiful city views. It can really be completely decorated to match whatever your unconventional wedding aesthetic is.

Oh, and did I mention that it also has lots of unique China pieces? The decor throughout this space is really one-of-a-kind. When booking here, you’ll get amenities like on-site accommodations, a reception area, a ceremony area, a dressing area, an outdoor event space, and more. Up to 200 guests can be here for an event.

Stone Barn at Blueberry Hill

Next is the Stone Barn at Blueberry Hill. This is the perfect event space for you if you want a more rustic and charming wedding venue! They’re great for elopements, micro-weddings, and standard weddings with 120 guests or less.

Depending on the package that you choose to book, you’ll be able to have up to 8 hours of space rental, along with tables, benches, a fire pit space, rehearsal time, and a cake/gift table.

One of my favorite things about this space is that it really feels like something out of a storybook. There are tons of great spots for photos throughout this wedding space, and it can really be dressed up or down, depending on the aesthetic that you’re going for.

OKC Civic Center Music Hall

What if you could have your wedding at a music hall? You can at the OKC Civic Center! With the Civic Center, there are three different options, including Meinders Hall of Mirrors (which has a unique Art Deco vibe), the Joel Levine Rehearsal Hall (with 20-foot ceilings), and the outdoor Bicentennial Park with downtown views.

Joel Levine Rehearsal Hall is the perfect place if you want a more intimate event. It has incredible sound quality, too, as it’s commonly used as a rehearsal area for performances.

Meinders Hall of Mirrors has downtown views and looks out to Bicentennial Park. It has 1930s architecture and can host larger events with up to 300 people. Last is Bicentennial Park, which is beautiful for either a day or night wedding. It’s absolutely beautiful under the stars with the greenery.

Daffodil Hill

Daffodil Hill is another great option for an intimate wedding. It can host up to 86 guests per event and has some of the most beautiful landscaping I’ve ever seen! Again, this is one that also feels fit for a fairytale-esque wedding, featuring a cottage that’s 100 years old, a beautiful fountain, and tons of trees for an enchanting ambiance.

Similar to other venues, they have a variety of different packages at Daffodil Hill, depending on what type of wedding you’re hoping to plan. They start with packages for 30 guests and then go up from there. They even have a unique, intimate wedding package, which includes an officiant for your wedding.

Myriad Gardens

Botanical gardens will always make some of the most beautiful and memorable backdrops for your big day, which is why Myriad Gardens had to be on this list of wedding venues in Oklahoma City. This 15-acre botanical garden in downtown OKC is truly breathtaking for a wedding.

If you are planning on having a larger wedding, then this is definitely a solid contender. It has an enchanting and whimsical atmosphere to it and can host up to 500 guests, depending on the package booked.

Throughout the gardens, the venue features unique indoor and outdoor spaces, including great views of the OKC skyline. Trust me when I say once you visit this place, you’ll for sure see why so many people say “I do” at this location.

The Venue at Plenty

Want a more industrial vibe to your wedding? The Venue at Plenty is 100% for you. Located on top of Plenty Mercantile in Automobile Alley, this venue has quite the history. In fact, it was actually the original Chevy Dealership back in the day.

When hosting a wedding here, you get the option of choosing between The Rooftop and The Warehouse. Or you can book both! The Rooftop is just what it sounds like: an outdoor, uncovered space. It can host about 150 people. Meanwhile, The Warehouse is indoor and features beautiful brick and can host 90 people.

The Lume

The Lume is a truly underrated modern wedding venue option in Oklahoma City. It’s in the art district of the city and has modern details throughout. It’s really bright and, again, is a great option because it can be fully customized no matter what your wedding vibe is. It’s truly a blank space.

This venue can host up to 100 guests throughout 3500 square feet of event space. Throughout, you’ll find on-site accommodations, a reception area, a dressing room, a ceremony space, and more.

The Yale Theater

The Yale Theater is one of the coolest wedding venues in Oklahoma City. It boasts historic charm, as it was built in 1910 right in Capitol Hill. This movie theater venue is really timeless.

One of the most fun things about this venue is that it has a marquee out front that gets personalized for your wedding. Talk about a photo opportunity! You can get your names placed right on the front entrance. How cool is that?

Throughout the venue, there’s a great mix of vintage furniture/decor with modern touches. You can also get their bar service with local craft beer options.

Merrick Hollow

Merrick Hollow is the perfect spot to get married if you want a location that really feels like a getaway in the OKC area. There’s a giant bridge that leads up to the venue, which is an incredible photo spot. In the main part of the venue itself, there are huge windows that allow for so much natural lighting throughout your wedding.

The venue can accommodate up to 200 guests, and you can bring in your own food. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as options for outdoor seating. This venue also has longer rental periods, up to 15 hours.

Will Rogers Conservatory

If you know you want a garden wedding in Oklahoma City, but the botanical gardens weren’t your vibe, Will Rogers Conservatory is a great option. There’s really nothing more magical than exchanging vows with your partner in a greenhouse, whether it’s during the bright light of the day or under the stars in the evening.

With Will Rogers Conservatory, you do get to pick from a few different indoor and outdoor spaces, so you can really customize your event. The options include:

  • The 1920s Ed Lycan Conservatory
  • The magical Margaret Annis Boys Arboretum
  • The seasonal Charles E. Sparks Color Garden
  • The beautiful Garden Exhibition Building

Really, no matter what space you choose to say “I do” here, you’re in for a treat. The entire space is gorgeous, and there are many intimate spots that are perfect for wedding photos.

Barn at the Woods

The Barn at the Woods is a sprawling 40-acre venue near Oklahoma City. It’s perfect if you want to combine sophistication with a rustic charm. This wedding venue is a great option for everything from Gatsby-esque large events to those that are more intimate.

Similar to other venues I’ve featured, this is a historic location that is over 100 years old. The venue itself is very calming and provides a great getaway for a wedding if you’re not into an urban event space.

I’ve also written a whole post on this venue in particular. Click here to check it out!

The Fordson (formerly 21 C)

Last but certainly not least is The Fordson, formerly 21 C, a hotel option. This is another great historic venue that actually once served as a Ford Model T assembly plant, and it’s also a contemporary art museum. It opened in 2016 and recently changed management, but it is still just as great of a venue.

This boutique hotel-style event space has an industrial yet modern atmosphere with great city views. It’s another of the larger event spaces and can host up to 240 guests. For city charm, you can’t go wrong with The Fordson.

From the rustic charm of barns to the industrial city venues, Oklahoma City truly has it all. I hope this post has helped point you in the direction of a perfect-fit venue!
